TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS

Most of our sights, attractions and downtown destinations are easily accessible by public transportation, and we highly encourage all guests to utilize this safe, efficient and quick way to getting around town.

The MARTA Rapid Rail, Atlanta's subway system, is a fast and reliable way for getting around the city, and you'll find our stations clean and modern, and the trains efficient even during peak travel hours. For areas not served by the Rapid Rail, MARTA buses will take you to anywhere within the city limits - however, travel is significantly slower and the frequency of buses lower on less popular routes.

If you're driving, you'll be glad to learn that drivers in Atlanta are friendly and the roads easy to navigate. You'll find your way around easily as long as you remember this rule of thumb: Peachtree Street is our main artery, so use it to find your bearings for all major streets and cross roads. Please consider time constraints caused by traffic, particularly during rush hour and on the Interstates.

The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport offers a large selection of vehicles from all major car rental agenies, or if you're driving, Atlanta's comprehensive and easy-to-navigate Interstate system leads you to W Atlanta - Downtown seamlessly. Our Whatever/Whenever® service will be thrilled to arrange for luxury transfers as well, or you can easily hop on a shuttle service from the airport's arrival hall.
